Ronald Johnson papers 1954-1993

Ashland, Kansas native Ronald Johnson (1935-1998) was a poet and author of cookbooks. This collection of his papers reflects these activities, containing poetry, galley proofs of poetry books, recipes, and proofs for cookbooks. It also contains personal letters from friends that included poet Jonathan Williams and artist Ian Hamilton Finlay.

Ronald Johnson was born in Ashland, Kansas on November 25, 1935 to A.T. Johnson and Helen Mayse (1910-1993). When he was a child, his family moved to Topeka, Kansas.
